Trans Global Projects (TGP) launches a dedicated airfreight department in Bremen, expanding its capabilities especially for time-critical and complex cargo.
The new department operates under its own IATA license, ensuring full compliance and direct control over airfreight operations.
As part of this expansion, Tobias Teichmann joins TGP as Head of Airfreight Germany, bringing more than a decade of experience in managing complex airfreight operations.
Tobias previously served as Airfreight Manager at Alexander Global Logistics and spent nearly ten years at Kopf & Lübben, specialising in charter solutions and engineered transport.
He holds a Certified Transport Specialist qualification from DAV – a leading German academy for international trade and transport.
The Bremen team complements TGP’s established airfreight expertise, including Natco’s – a Trans Global Company – airfreight and air charter operations in Rümlang, Switzerland, and specialised capabilities in Brazil.
These locations have supported urgent and oversized cargo movements for years, providing tailored charter solutions and engineering-driven planning for complex shipments.
In October, TGP was named Airfreight Solution of the Year by the Heavy Lift and Project Forwarding Magazine (HLPFI) for delivering a 6-ton slewing ring from Germany to China in record time.
The project required custom engineering and innovative load planning to fit the cargo into a Boeing 777F, saving over 30 days compared to ocean transport.
The same precision and problem-solving approach will define Bremen’s operations.
Tobias Teichmann, Head of Airfreight Germany, says: “The department in Bremen gives our clients direct access to specialised airfreight solutions with full IATA accreditation.
“It’s about speed, safety, and flexibility—delivered by a team that understands the complexity of project cargo.”
Andreas Menzel, Managing Director Germany and Benelux, comments: “This investment reflects our commitment to Northern Europe.
“Bremen will serve as a hub for urgent shipments and engineered solutions, supported by Natco’s airfreight and air charter expertise and our global resources.”
Colin Charnock, Group CEO, Trans Global Projects, adds: “Airfreight is a critical part of our strategy.
“By combining technical know-how with operational agility, we ensure clients receive reliable uplift and clear communication from booking to delivery.”
