Michael Attlan

After obtaining in 1990 an advanced degree in Biochemical Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in France, Michael initiated his professional experience in Mexico as Scientific Director for Sanofi Pasteur, supporting the early foundation of the company in the region for the following 11 years. He moved back to France in 2002, still in Sanofi Pasteur, to take the responsibility of International Licensing-in Agreement Director in Corporate Business Development working with biotech partners located in Asia and US to complement the late stage products portfolio of the company. Then in 2006, Michael oriented his career toward marketing by taking the lead of the Sanofi Pasteur Travel and Endemic Vaccines Franchise, first for emerging regions then at corporate level, designing and steering the strategy of those range of products. More recently, starting early 2017, he developed and lead the New Technologies Platform for Sanofi Pasteur, focused in delivering new value to customers by leveraging innovation, from product formulation to digital, issuing augmented vaccines and services. In 2019, in the frame of the NT Platform, Michael lead the development and launch of the fist Vaccine & Biologicals Innovation Lab, the 14Bis, located Campus Sanofi Lyon, with a strong focus on digital and artificial intelligence.
