Celine Hourcade

In September 2019, Celine Hourcade joined TIACA as Project Manager supporting the Association’s transformation program. The first 2 priorities for Hourcade are to lead the development of TIACA’s Sustainability Program, including the first Sustainability Award, and the delivery of the Cargo Service Quality (CSQ) objectives.

Celine is a driver for change with 18 years of experience in international environment, mainly in the aviation industry, having worked for WaveStone, Amadeus and then IATA for 13 years. In her former capacity as Head of cargo Transformation at IATA, Celine launched the FACE program to attract, develop and retain the young talents in the air cargo industry; developed the Air Cargo Makes It Happen campaign to raise the profile of our industry; established the standard to measure the Air Cargo Carbon Footprint; managed the Air Cargo Innovation Awards to stimulate and reward fresh and good ideas; and designed the StB Cargo program to transform air cargo and make it easier, faster and smarter.

As a strong believer that drones will revolutionize the transport of goods, Celine serves as member of the Advisory Boards of the Swiss drone start-up Rigi Technologies and the Lake Victoria Challenge and is part of the World Economic Forum’s Drone Innovators Network. She has also been recently appointed by Professor Kasarda as Senior Fellow of Aerotropolis Institute China (AIC) and Expert Advisor to the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEC) together with Ram Menen and Des Vertannes.
