Stavros Evangelakakis has 30 years’ experience in the air cargo industry working in various departments at Cargolux. Evangelakakis has held previous roles in export, reservations, sales, marketing, cooperating marketing. Prior to his current title of Global Product Manager for Healthcare/Perishables, Evangelakakis was sales Manager Europe, M East and C Asia for 9 years. He is the Chairman of the Cool Chain association.

A.Bahadır BÜYÜKKAYMAZ worked as Customer Relationship Manager and Logistic Operations Manager in reputable global and domestic companies with extensive experience for more than 25 years. He was responsible for transport and distribution operations, business ethics, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and profitability assessments. In the last 12 years of his career, he has been working as Special Cargo and Healthcare Products Manager at Turkish Cargo. He is responsible for management and coordination of product development projects. In coorperation with other departments, A.Bahadır BUYUKKAYMAZ develops new products and services and provides enhancements to existing ones on a regular basis. Following closely the trends and latest technological developments in the air cargo sector, and attending workshops and international seminars related to special cargo operations are of great interest to him. He develops sales plans to support Turkish Cargo’s regional sales-marketing teams worldwide specifically in relation to special cargo consignments. A.Bahadır BUYUKKAYMAZ ensures publishing of supplementary articles on special cargo by IATA. His management announces newsletters related to special cargo to the entire Turkish Cargo organization in order to set corporate standards in and outbound and mitigate operational risks. A.Bahadır BUYUKKAYMAZ is entitled with IATA’s CEIV Pharma Certificate and is the Pharma Responsible Person in the Turkish Cargo organization. He has helped to obtain CEIV Live Animal, CEIV Fresh and CEIV Li-Batt, too.

Andy Faes

Andy Faes has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare logistics sector. He offers expertise in supply chain logistics, quality management, procurement, and temperature-controlled freight and storage. Andy has practical and theoretical knowledge of GDP and ISO13485 guidelines across air, ocean, warehousing, and trucking.

He oversees 100 offices in Europe, working with over 500 healthcare and medical device companies, and is responsible for product development, training modules, and commercial engagements. Since 2014, Andy has managed Expeditors' Healthcare Vertical for Europe from their Brussels office. Andy's career began in 1999 with American Airlines in commercial roles in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. In 2007, he moved to London to join their Cargo Division for EMEA, eventually chairing the American Airlines Cargo Sales Advisory Board. In 2009, he established AA Cargo Temperature Controlled Services EPXTC, training 3,000 colleagues in GDP compliance. In 2011, Andy returned to Belgium to join Envirotainer in a global role, managing logistics partnerships. He speaks five languages, is IATA CEIV certified, a licensed GDP trainer and auditor, and serves on the IATA HCWG and Pharma.Aero Advisory Board. Andy holds a degree in Supply Chain Management from Thomas More University, Belgium, and enjoys tennis, running, cycling, yoga, and spending time with his family.

Marco Del Giudice

Marco Del Giudice is the co-founder and Vice president of Pharmacomitalia, an Italian non-profit association that connects pharmaceutical manufacturers and their logistic service providers. In 2010 he founded MdG Consulting, supplying the airfreight pharma industry with specific consultancy for the IATA CEIV and GDP compliances. Del Giudice is also CEO of MdG Srl, a company providing the logistic and pharma industry with products and services for the cold chain. Del Giudice is also, since 2014, senior auditor for the IATA CEIV Pharma certification with more the 90 audits worldwide.

Kevin Doran

Kevin Doran’s key accountability is the manufacturing of Tower’s products managed through a network of suppliers in the EU and APAC. Doran is a keen advocate of the use of cutting edge technologies to disrupt established manufacturing practices and supply chain interactions. With an extensive track record of collaborating with industry partners and academic institutions to facilitate knowledge transfer, he has facilitated the adoption of strategic, step-change solutions which drive lean manufacturing and contribute to sustainable organizational success.

Nicola Caristo

SkyCell AG

Nicola has over 20 years' experience in the Air Cargo Industry and has been involved in many different areas, roles, and projects. After gaining ten years’ experience in Cargo Operations Management, Nicola went on to be Quality and Risk Manager and then Security TAPA Asset Protection Project Manager. Nicola has been the group coordinator for both CEIV Pharma and CEIV Fresh standards for GHAz since IATA first developed and launched the certifications, as well as Pharma & Special Products Development Manager. Nicola is currently leading the Quality Department at SkyCell AG. Additionally, he serves as Secretary General of the Cool Chain Association (CCA) and is a member of IATA TTWG.

Miguel Rodriguez

Miguel Rodríguez is the Head of Cargo Products at Qatar Airways Cargo, overseeing the operational and commercial development of QR Cargo's Product portfolio. With 19 years of experience in operations and commercial management across the aviation and hospitality industries, Miguel has led IATA CEIV certifications and the COVID-19 vaccine readiness plan at Qatar Airways Cargo. His focus is on innovation, digitalization and sustainability. Miguel holds an MBA from the University of Barcelona and is fluent in 5 languages.

Gerton Hulsman

Energy in Process GmbH

Gerton Hulsman is a Dutch veteran with over 40 years of experience in the airfreight industry. Having worked extensively with KLM Cargo in various managerial roles, both in the Netherlands and internationally, Hulsman has a deep understanding of the sector. Before retiring, he served as Managing Director of a 100% handling subsidiary at Düsseldorf Airport in Germany. Prior to that, Hulsman was responsible for cargo development at Cologne-Bonn Airport.

Passionate about the future of air cargo, he is particularly interested in the digitization of the industry and the push towards sustainable, green initiatives. Currently, Hulsman proudly serves as an advisory board member of the Cool Chain Association.

Francisco Rizzuto

Francisco Rizzuto is currently at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) holding the position of Cargo Specialist Manager for the EU, UK, Turkey, Ukraine, Israel, Russia & CIS countries, responsible for delivering IATA’s Cargo Agenda in the Region. Additionally acting also as IATA`s Auditor & Consultant on pharma temperature control projects at Airports in Europe, US, Canada, Latin America and South Africa for airlines, airports´ handling & ramp operators, freight forwarding companies and trucking companies. Before joining IATA, Rizzuto owned and managed his own company for 15 years dedicated to Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage and Int´l Trade Consulting, and worked for companies like Panalpina and UPS (Supply Chain Management).

Michael Zach

Michael Zach began his career in Controlling at Flughafen Wien AG in 2006. After several years in strategy development, he subsequently took over the management of various projects as assistant to the board. After management functions at City Airport Train and VIE Airport Baumanagement GmbH, Zach was appointed managing director of Vienna Aircraft Handling GmbH in summer 2016. Since 2018 the airport expert is also acting as Vice President Sales, Finance & Cargo for Ground Handling & Cargo Operations at Vienna Airport.

Svilen Rangelov

Svilen Rangelov co-founded DRONAMICS with his brother Konstantin Rangelov, an aerospace engineer, with a mission to leverage advances in autonomy, aeronautics and composite materials, in order to democratize air freight and accelerate e-commerce in emerging markets. The Rangelov brothers are leading a fast growing team of world-class experts in aviation, logistics and engineering, and their pioneering work has won them numerous international awards and industry recognition. In 2018 DRONAMICS became IATA's first strategic partner for drones worldwide, and in 2022 DRONAMICS received the first EU license for a cargo drone airline.

Gianluca Marcangelo

Senior Manager Cargo Transformation, Challenge Group

Gianluca Marcangelo began his career in the freight forwarding industry in 1998 taking care of the AOG product. In 2000 he moved to the current Italian branch of Global GSA Group under the tenure of Head of Operations managing several global accounts. In 2015 he moved to Oman Air HQ in Muscat where he held the position of Manager Customer Service first, then was promoted to Manager Special Products and Digital Innovation, leading one of the first community approach in our industry to the CEIV Pharma and Fresh certification process and the eAWB implementation. In 2021 he joined the Challenge Group as Senior Manager Cargo Transformation. Marcangelo is member of the new IATA PCWG and the CCA Technical Committee.

John Perdoch

Marketing Freighter Model Leader, Boeing

John Perdoch joined Boeing in 2006 as the Marketing Freighter Model Leader. He is responsible for representing customer interests to Boeing freighter programs, as well as communicating the value of Boeing products to customers. Prior to Marketing, Perdoch worked in Product Development as a senior Configuration Design engineer developing next generation freighters including the 777-8F. While there, he was responsible for driving aircraft design to support key customer cargo missions, such as carriage of pharmaceuticals, perishables, dry ice, and live animals; leveraging his prior experience as an Environmental Control Systems engineer.

Nathan is the Chief Executive Officer of Ostend-Bruges Airport and Antwerp Airport. He has over 23 years of leadership experience in the aviation industry, ranging from operational airport management, business development, commercial account management to standards and procedures at several airports in Europe for cargo handling agents and airport operators. His previous positions include Managing Director for WFS Belgium, Head of Cargo for Brussels Airport, Founder and Chairman of Pharma.Aero and Board Member of Air Cargo Belgium

Emma Murray is CEO and co-founder of Meantime Communications, the leading consultancy for global supply chain and logistics communications. With over 30 years’ experience in air cargo, she drives Meantime to deliver strategy, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement for the world’s top air cargo, freight, and technology organisations. Under her leadership, Meantime is pioneering the use of AI in communications for the supply chain and logistics sector, harnessing new tools to deliver smarter, faster, and more measurable results. An award-winning former journalist and editor, Emma is an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR) and co-founder of Women in Aviation and Logistics, a global initiative tackling gender imbalance in the sector. Before moving into journalism, she worked as an archaeologist in Syria and Jordan and was once an English teacher.

Michael Hegglin

Michael Hegglin is heading the sustainability department at SkyCell, where he is advancing green pharma logistics. Under his environmental leadership, SkyCell has set Science-based CO2 targets, switched to renewable electricity, received the EcoVadis Gold Medal, and became operationally carbon neutral. Before joining SkyCell, Hegglin worked as a sustainability consultant and clean energy match-maker in the US, Germany, and Switzerland. Hegglin has studied environmental sciences at ETH Zurich and Yale University and has thus profound knowledge of environmental systems and policies.

Hay Sasson

With more than 17 years of experience in the logistics industry, Hay Sasson is the Chief Operating Officer of Challenge Group. In his professional career, Sasson fulfilled several managerial positions, within the freight forwarding industry, Airlines and Hi-Tech companies. Sasson joined the Challenge Group in 2017 under the tenure of Ground Operations Manager Europe based at the Group’s HUB in Liege, where, inspired by the corporate motto “Challenge Accepted”, he dedicated his activity to deliver operational excellence and provide full logistics end to end solutions for complex and non-standard cargo as per the Group vision & mission. As part of the Group’s growth strategy, last year Sasson was appointed as the Group COO.

In his current role as Regional Marketing Director, Chris Higgs is responsible for Boeing’s relationships with several airline customers in the Middle East and Africa, supporting activities in airline fleet planning and aircraft sales. One of his most recent projects was the collaboration with Qatar Airways in the launch of Boeing’s newest freighter aircraft, the 777-8F. Higgs started with Boeing in 2010 as an Aerodynamics Engineer and has held roles in Product Development, Aircraft Performance and Product Marketing.
