Modern Logistics, Brazil’s cargo airline, has announced a strategic partnership with ATC Aviation Services Latin America to serve as its General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) across key markets in the region.
This collaboration marks a pivotal move in Modern Logistics’ international growth, extending its reach to Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, and Uruguay.
The partnership aligns with Modern Logistics’ two-phase international growth strategy initiated earlier this year, strengthening its position in underserved Latin American markets.
With the recent addition of two Boeing 737-800 cargo aircraft, the company is poised to enhance its operational capabilities, offering efficient and seamless logistics solutions to clients.
The first phase of Modern’s expansion, launched in August 2024, targeted select South American countries.
The second phase, scheduled for completion within the next 6-12 months, will extend the company’s services to Mexico and the United States.
CEO Koga revealed the operational plan:
Frequency: At least two weekly flights per route.
Capacity: 20-22 tonnes per leg.
This increased connectivity will allow Modern to better serve the growing demand for integrated logistics across the region.
Modern Logistics has built its reputation as the only Brazilian cargo carrier providing an integrated logistics model. Over the past decade, the company has established itself as the dominant force in Brazil’s logistics sector.
“Partnering with ATC Aviation Services ensures Modern Logistics is positioned to offer unparalleled service and expertise in Latin America, enabling us to support client needs in new markets efficiently,” said Koga.
