Modern Logistics has announced the addition of two Boeing 737-800 Converted Freighter (BCF) aircraft to its operational fleet.

The company revealed to Air Cargo News that it recently took delivery of its second 737-800BCF earlier this month, marking a significant milestone in its expansion efforts.

According to company sources, the newly acquired aircraft has already commenced operations and is currently “in service,” joining its predecessor which was acquired in October of the previous year.

Modern Logistics anticipates that these two freighters will play a pivotal role in supporting its expansion initiatives, particularly in penetrating other Latin American markets such as Argentina, Colombia, and Central America, while also establishing a foothold in Miami.

These Boeing 737-800BCFs, leased through Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management (BBAM), have successfully completed certification by PCA Airworthiness and have received final approval from ANAC, Brazil’s aviation regulatory authority.
