GIC International Catering now provides in-flight catering services to Lufthansa Cargo pilots. The partnership was operational from 1 January 2026. It covers eight daily flights on intercontinental routes such as Chennai, Chicago, Mumbai, Beijing, Sao Paolo, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

Lufthansa Cargo crews will receive a premium à la carte selection based on Business Class menus. There will also be additional options ranging from fresh club sandwiches to a selection of salads.

“Supplying pilots carries a special responsibility,” said Göksel Yildirim, GIC CEO. “Their expectations for quality, precision and reliability go beyond those of any first or business class.

“Being selected by Lufthansa Cargo is both an honor and a commitment for us.”

With this new contract, GIC International Catering has gained a renowned airline partner within the freight sector, and also further strengthened its presence at Frankfurt Airport.

The catering suppliers already have a production line next to Frankfurt Airport, serving more than 20 international carriers with freshly prepared meals. 5,000 gourmet menus, warm Economy Class meals, and budget-friendly snacks are prepared daily at the site.

GIC International Catering was founded by two brothers more than 25 years ago.
