AGI Cargo, a provider of cargo and ground handling services across North America, has announced the five-year extension of its freighter ground handling contract with LATAM Cargo at Miami International Airport (MIA).

The new agreement will commence in June of 2026 and secures the partnership through 2031.

AGI has supported LATAM’s operations at MIA since 2015, marking a decade of collaboration at one of the world’s busiest cargo gateways.

Under the renewed contract, AGI will continue to provide comprehensive freighter ground handling for approximately 5,400 flights annually – a volume expected to grow considerably over the next five years as demand for air cargo continues to increase.

Jared Azcuy, CEO of AGI said: “LATAM Cargo has been a valued partner of AGI for ten years, and we are honored to continue building on this foundation.

“Our Miami team is committed to delivering the highest standards of safety, reliability, and service excellence to support LATAM’s mission and growth.”

The extension also reflects AGI’s broader investment in world-class infrastructure and safety at MIA.
