AEI receives order from TSM for a B737-400 freighter conversion

Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has announced that Saltillo, Mexico-based Aeronaves T.S.M. S.A. de C.V. (TSM) has ordered an additional AEI B737-400SF freighter conversion.

Including this order, TSM will have converted a total of eight (8) B737-400SFs with AEI.

TSM is planning to expand their fleet of 737-400 freighter aircraft and intends to operate 20 of the freighter type. Currently, TSM is purchasing or will purchase existing freighters to help the company reach its expansion plans.

The 737-400 aircraft (MSN 26308) will commence modification in May 2023 and will be performed by the authorized AEI Conversion Centner, Commercial Jet, in Dothan, Alabama.

The B737-400SF remains a popular freighter product offering for AEI. Since program launch, the company has redelivered over 132 freighter conversions.

AEI’s B737-400SF shall provide TSM with a highly flexible Ancra CLS capable of carrying multiple ULD’s including:

(10) 88”x125” ULDs in P1 to P10 and
(1) 53”x88”x64” Pallet or AEP/AEH or 60.4”x61.5” AKE/LD3 or 61.5”x88”x56”H AYY in P11

This unique flexibility has been designed by AEI to allow cargo operators to immediately adapt to multiple ULD configurations at a moment’s notice.

When combined with proven reliability, the AEI Converted B737-400SF will allow TSM to keep their aircraft – “In the air, generating revenue”.
